VBS = Summer Outreach

When we're planning summer events at FC, we try to maintain an outreach perspective. That's exactly why we call our VBS program Adventure Week - much less intimidating for someone who's not a Christ-follower. We've used several different methods in the past to spread the word, like huge signs on the side of our building (similar to the one in our Easter post), a front-page presence on our web site, newspaper wrap ads and kid-friendly direct mail pieces. And the best outreach of all? Quality programming. It's easy for kids to invite their friends to Adventure Week because they know they will have a blast! At the end of the week we encourage all parents to join us for the final night of the drama, where they enjoy a recap of what their children have experienced and are invited to visit Fellowship Church for a weekend service.
