This important series on preparing for spiritual battle can be summed up in the little phrase in Ephesians 6:10, "take your stand." God has given us all we need in Christ to stand against the attacks of the evil one, but we need to first put on the full armor of God. Find out how to claim the victory that is already ours through Christ, and how to stand firm until He returns to vanquish the foe.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). How do we prepare for the spiritual battle in which we are engaged? How do we stay strong in the Lord? In the same way that soldiers in physical battle prepare to fight, we prepare by putting on armor. The Bible calls it the "armor of God," because it is spiritual armor that gives us the power to fight a spiritual foe. It is your choice, though, as a follower of Christ, to get dressed for the battle. God has a designer wardrobe that is specially tailored to make you strong and give you victory over the evil one. This series by Ed Young will help you get your God Gear out of the closet and take a stand for the Lord.
