As Christmas Draws Near...

We wanted to take a moment out of what always seems to be the most hectic time of the year to wish you a warm and Merry Christmas. We pray that God blesses you and opens the hearts of each person that walks through your doors.

We hope you have the opportunity to enjoy some well-earned rest over the holidays! More for you this year at C3

We met with our Conferences team last week and they are hard at work developing a Creative Church Conference like you've never experienced before! We'll be packing a lot into February 21 and 22, so plan for a time of intense learning and creative renewal. One difference you'll notice this year is that we're including breakouts in the cost of the conference. That's right - for no extra charge you'll be able to attend two breakouts of your choice on Friday afternoon. Make sure you allow time in your travel schedule to catch some interactive time with FC staff and fellow attendees! We'll have some more exciting details to share over the coming weeks, so stay tuned.

Series to start the year

We received a call the other day from a pastor who is brand new to his post. We love talking to church leaders who are in the early stages of ministry! It's great to hear their eagerness and share in their enthusiasm as well as being able to help them find just the right resource to fit their needs. He had a question that was too timely not to share:

What would be a good series to kick off 2008?

• Ed just mentioned the other day that ineed2change would a perfect series to start off the new year!
• Fellowship Church began 2007 with the Larger than Life series, which covers fasting, prayer and giving.
• Retro, a series dealing with the fundamentals of faith, is a great choice for setting priorities and getting back to the basics. Don't miss the message on the Sabbath, Leisure Suits You.
• For some people, spending time with family over the holidays re-opens old wounds. Forgiveness, The Real F Word helps in making peace with the past.
• And for those looking to make the most of life in 2008, Life's Too Short is a great series to highlight what's truly important.

Some of us have stop signs, some of us carry detour signs. The innkeeper, Mary & Joseph & the Wisemen all had their own signs, too. That personal signage can either keep us away from a manger or it can draw us close to a manger.
