Podcast > Wholly Holy > Just Don't Get Married
April 08, 2008
A great marriage isn't something that just happens. Sadly though, society tells us that marriage is just like any other relationship—a party that we can show up to and leave whenever we want. And others think that getting married will solve all our relational, emotional and spiritual issues. None of these views is accurate or equal to what God had in mind when he designed the marriage relationship.
In this message, Ed Young reveals the truth about the work it takes to have a successful marriage. And he tells us boldly that if we aren't willing to do the work in order to reap the rewards, then just don't get married.

In today's world, we look to our relationships for companionship, friendship and meaning. One of the biggest needs we look for relationships to solve in our lives is the need to feel whole, complete. But is that really what God had in mind when he designed families, friendships and specifically marriages?
In this series, Ed Young takes a unique approach to marriage and relationships. And as we look to God's plan, we discover that they may never have been intended to make us whole. They were designed instead to make us holy.
