March 10, 2009

King David is one of the most well-known personalities in all of Scripture. Yet, in the middle of his life, he had an encounter with a little known character that nearly cost him everything.

In this message, Ed Young reflects on the encounter that David had with Doeg. He shows us how damaging Doeg's use of slander was. And we discover what it takes to avoid the destruction caused by slander and instead experience a life of integrity.

Lesser Known Personalities of the Bible

Most people have heard of the disciples. Many of us are familiar with stories of Moses, David and certainly Jesus. But what about those people in the background of Scripture?

In this series, Ed Young looks at some seemingly insignificant characters and shows us their significance. He brings them from the background of the Bible to the foreground of our minds. Because although they don't receive a lot of ink in the Bible, these unknown personalities have a lot to teach us about the way God wants us to live.
