Pre-Order C3 DVD Set!

February 24, 2009

Beautiful Feet pic We're just coming off the heels of C3 2009 and our heads and hearts are reeling from the event. We know the positive repercussions will be felt for many weeks and months ahead, as we process and take home what we learned this past week. The theme this year was Beautiful Feet from Isaiah 52:7. And that is a perfect description of the conference. Thousands of beautiful people, with beautiful feet, serving a beautiful God came together to worship, to learn...and to celebrate the footprints we make together for the cause of Christ around the world. It was truly a beautiful thing!

As Ed Young, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Jentezen Franklin, Craig Groschel, Tommy Barnett, Christine Caine, Steven Furtick, Ben Young, and Bil Cornelius poured their hearts out in the general sessions and during C3Nights, we experienced a powerful and passionate move of God at Fellowship Church.  This year's C3 was one of the most inspiring and motivational events we've had in the many years we've been hosting this conference.

Even if you missed C3 this past week, you don't have to miss out. You can still experience it by getting the C3 DVD set, which includes seven daytime sessions and three C3Nights sessions. We say this often, but you truly do not want to miss the chance to hear from these dynamic and diverse group of speakers at this once-in-a-lifetime gathering. You'll want to watch these DVDs again and again to capture all of the wisdom and practical leadership principles for the church today.

For those who came to C3, thanks for letting CreativePastors share in this incredible time with you. We look forward to serving together with you this year as we "bring good news" to the world with all of our beautiful feet. And, of course, we can't wait for C3 2010!

It will be held at the Fellowship Church Grapevine campus from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, prior to the opening session of the C3 conference that evening. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

10 Commandments of Purity

October 04, 2008

Ed and Lisa recently had the opportunity to participate in the outstanding "Love, Sex, and Relationships" conference at Hillsong Church. One of the things they shared was Ed's 10 Commandments of Purity, a personal commitment he made years ago when he started out in ministry. Ed and Lisa wanted to make that available to everyone as a reminder that God gave us marriage, first and foremost, for our holiness.

10 Commandments of Purity

   1. I shall have no other human relationship before Lisa
   2. Remember your date night and keep it holy.
   3. Honor Lisa on anniversaries and special days so that you may live long in the land the Lord has given you.
   4. I shall not take the covenant of marriage in vain.
   5. I shall not ride in a car or eat in a restaurant alone with a member of the opposite sex.
   6. I shall not travel alone.
   7. I shall not counsel a woman behind closed doors.
   8. I shall not share the details of my marriage with others.
   9. I shall not watch, read or expose myself to sexually explicit shows, books, websites, etc.
  10. I shall remember the implications of committing adultery.

Visit Ed's blog to read more about their experience at this amazing event!

Creative Church Conference - Phoenix is Postponed

April 05, 2008

The Elephant in the Church

February 21, 2008

As attendees arrived at the Creative Church Conference this morning, they were greeted by a live elephant. But the circus hasn't come to town! Instead this pachyderm is here to represent the Elephant in the Church—betrayal. This morning Ed is sharing some raw, real stories from the history of Fellowship Church, and betrayal is where the plot clots. One particular event he's discussing almost brought FC to its knees. But God redeemed these heartbreaking incidents and ultimately used them to strengthen his Church. We wouldn't be where we are today at Fellowship Church if we hadn't experienced betrayal.

If you'd like to hear more about this pivotal point in Fellowship Church's growth, check out our brand new Betrayal series!
